The Ronix August Wakeboard was not based off any of their other boards, instead it has features that make sense for the youth. This board has softer outside molded-in fins for easier surface turns, but still has a sharp top and inside shape for extra grip when needed. The longer fins on the toeside allow a rider to stand in a more comfortable position and the 4º bevel means cleaner transitions and less edge catches, phew.
Special Features – The wide tip and tail make for easy water starts, rides higher at slow speeds and gives riders larger sweet spot for take offs and landings. The mellow round radius fading bevel sets a predictable smooth transitioned edge with little effort and doesn’t require a steep edge angle to get speed.
Rocker and Base Features – An higher rocker angle will allow the board to pop right out of the water on starts and cut through the chop with much less effort from the legs.
